The Pure Tweed Collection

The Pure Tweed Collection is the ultimate in 21st century luxury.

At Upper Canada Weaving we honour the traditions of the past while looking to the future by using sustainable, ethical and traceable practices. Attention to detail goes into every step of the Pure Tweed Collection. The fabric is custom hand woven to impeccable standards using wool of unsurpassed quality. From start to finish, the fabric is manufactured entirely in Ontario without dyes, additives or synthetic materials.

The story of our fabric begins with the cold winters and hot summers of Pine Hollow Farm in Peterborough County. The sandy soil, the pastures of grass, clover and alfalfa, the sunshine, rain and snow of this Ontario farm create lustrous, superior quality wool in a variety of natural colours from Norbouillet sheep. Less than two hours from our Toronto studio, these Norbouillet sheep produce fibres of unmatched quality, giving us the best in strength and softness. We are proud to showcase this collection of premium fabrics that reflect our local Canadian terroir in timeless tweed fabric.

These elements are the foundation for the 400 g herringbone cloth, perfect for a jacket, full suit or casual wear for men or women.  Contact us to order your custom tweed fabric.
